Hiring Process

Each dedicated team has its own individual hiring process that works best for the team and is most efficient for the customer. We would like to walk you through the steps that you will experience during the hiring process to give you a picture of what to expect.

Our main goal is to make our hiring process as clear and transparent as possible, to be able to give each other a great sense of being comfortable with each other in any future professional and personal endeavours.

Recruiting Screening Interview

The first step is the Recruiting Screening Interview, which is conducted by one of Satellite’s recruiters at a mutually agreed date and time. This interview serves as an opportunity for you to discuss various aspects such as your education, professional background, career trajectory, noteworthy projects and your overall expectations regarding the prospective role. Moreover, you will also gain insights into Satellite’s unique attributes, the responsibilities associated with the role, the products we work with, relevant processes, the company's ecosystem and the team dynamics. Lastly, you are encouraged to ask any pertinent questions you may have. Following a successful Recruiting Screening Interview, you will progress to the subsequent stage of the process.

Technical interview

The Technical Interview gives you an opportunity to showcase your hard and soft skills. This crucial step is an inherent component of the overall hiring process, and is applicable to candidates regardless of their specific role. Satellite’s Technical Interviews are administered by a team member capable of providing a comprehensive assessment of both your technical and soft skills, and the technical interviewer will allocate time to address any queries you may have and offer further insight into the technical intricacies associated with the role and the product.

Fit Interview

Building upon the insights gained regarding Satellite and the role, the Fit Interview presents an invaluable occasion to pose additional inquiries and engage with various individuals including team members, project managers, product owners and founders. These are the individuals you would collaborate with closely and interact with should you be selected. Further, the Fit Interview will let you evaluate the extent to which the company aligns with your goals, expectations and personal outlook. Simultaneously, this stage enables us to finalize the assessment of your compatibility with both the company and the role at hand.

Client Introduction

Satellite’s business revolves around forging partnerships with product companies and startups. By joining Satellite, you will seamlessly integrate into one of our partner's products, becoming an essential and cohesive element of their team. Hence, the Client Introduction Interview serves as a pivotal stage in the process. It gives you the opportunity to showcase your skills, experience and personality, while also providing a platform to inquire about the technical projects.
